BJP’s Jagtap Laxman Pandurang won Chinchwad assembly seat in 2014 Maharashtra Assembly Elections by a margin of 60297 votes. Runner-up Kalate Rahul Tanaji of SHS bagged 63489 votes. Third position was held by NCP's Vitthal Alias Nana Kate. Fourth came Bhondve Moreshwar Mahadu while Kadam Kailash Mahadev of INC got the fifth spot.
