BJP’s Khadse Eknathrao Ganpatrao won Muktainagar assembly seat in 2014 Maharashtra Assembly Elections by a margin of 9708 votes. Runner-up Patil Chandrakant Nimba of SHS bagged 75949 votes. Third position was held by NCP's Arun Pandurang Patil. Fourth came Patil Yogendrasing Bhagwan while Thakare Suresh Shivram of BSP got the fifth spot.
