Daund is a State Assembly/Vidhan Sabha consituency is a part of the Baramati Lok Sabha seat. Nationalist Congress Party’s Supriya Sule won this seat in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections by a margin of 155774 votes.
RSPS’s Kul Rahul Subhashrao won Daund assembly seat in 2014 Maharashtra Assembly Elections by a margin of 11345 votes. Runner-up Ramesh Kisan Thorat of NCP bagged 76304 votes. Third position was held by MNS's Rajaram Maruti Tambe. Fourth came Vikas (aaba) Takavane while Rajendra Shankar Khati of SHS got the fifth spot.
