INC’s Radhakrishna Eknathrao Vikhe Patil won Shirdi assembly seat in 2014 Maharashtra Assembly Elections by a margin of 74662 votes. Runner-up Abhay Dattatraya Shelke Patil of SHS bagged 46797 votes. Third position was held by BJP's Rajendra Bhausaheb Gondkar. Fourth came Shekhar Bhaskarrao Borhade while Jagtap Simon Thakaji of BSP got the fifth spot.
