Barshi is a State Assembly/Vidhan Sabha consituency is a part of the Osmanabad Lok Sabha seat. Shiv Sena’s Omprakash Bhupalsinh Alias Pawan Rajenimbalkar won this seat in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections by a margin of 127566 votes.
NCP’s Dilip Gangadhar Sopal won Barshi assembly seat in 2014 Maharashtra Assembly Elections by a margin of 5111 votes. Runner-up Rajendra Vitthal Raut of SHS bagged 92544 votes. Third position was held by BJP's Mirgane Rajendra Sukhdev. Fourth came Shinde Ganesh Suresh while Sudhir Vishwambhar Gadhave of INC got the fifth spot.
