NCP’s Dolas Hanumant Jagannath won Malshiras assembly seat in 2014 Maharashtra Assembly Elections by a margin of 6245 votes. Runner-up Khandagale Anant Jaykumar of IND bagged 70934 votes. Third position was held by SHS's Sarwade Laxman Vitthal. Fourth came Dhainje Tribhuvan Alias Balasaheb Vinayak while Pro.martand Ramchandra Sathe of INC got the fifth spot.
