SHS’s Shantaram Tukaram More won Bhiwandi Rural (S.T.) assembly seat in 2014 Maharashtra Assembly Elections by a margin of 9160 votes. Runner-up Patil Shantaram Dundaram of BJP bagged 47922 votes. Third position was held by MNS's Dashrath Dundaram Patil. Fourth came Ghatal Mahadev Ambo while Sachin Damodar Shingda of INC got the fifth spot.
