NCP’s Desai Kupakar Sandhyadevi Krushnarao won Chandgad assembly seat in 2014 Maharashtra Assembly Elections by a margin of 8199 votes. Runner-up Narsingrao Gurunath Patil of SHS bagged 43400 votes. Third position was held by IND's Appi Alias Vinayakrao Virgondrao Patil. Fourth came Bharmuanna Subarav Patil while Sangramsinh Bhagyeshrao Desai Alias Sangramsinh Kupekar of JSS got the fifth spot.
