SHS’s Gogawale Bharat Maruti won Mahad assembly seat in 2014 Maharashtra Assembly Elections by a margin of 21256 votes. Runner-up Manik Motiram Jagtap of INC bagged 73152 votes. Third position was held by NCP's Ambonkar Uday Anant. Fourth came Sudhir Parshuram Mahadik while Surendra Kashiram Chavan of MNS got the fifth spot.
