'5 Prime Ministers In 5 Years': PM Modi Slams I.N.D.I.A Bloc For 'Indecisive Leadership'

Addressing a rally in Maharashtra's Solapur, Modi trained his guns on the Congress, and said the party obstructed the implementation of 'Babasaheb Ambedkar’s Constitution in Kashmir'.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday took a swipe at the I.N.D.I.A bloc regarding its leadership dynamics during a public address in Solapur, Maharashtra. "There is a great war going on regarding who will lead the INDI alliance. Can you hand over such a big country to someone whose name is not fixed, whose face is not known? These people have been dividing the country to grab power," Modi said.

"Now a new formula has been brought: 5 Prime Ministers in 5 years... One PM every year, he will come and loot as much treasure as he can, then, in the second year, a second PM will come and the cycle will continue... These fake Shiv Sena people are saying that there are many people in their party for the post of prime minister."

He was referring to the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray), the faction of the Maharashtra-based party that has allied with the I.N.D.I.A bloc.

Modi said this was the second time he had visited Solapur this year. "When I came in January, I had brought something, I had come to fulfil your rights and to give you all something. But today, I have come to ask you for something, and I have come to ask because I want to give a lot in the future," Modi was quoted as saying by ANI.

"My government has brought 25 crore poor people of the country above poverty line," he said, as quoted by PTI.

Training his guns on the Congress, he said the party obstructed the implementation of "Babasaheb Ambedkar’s Constitution in Kashmir".
