The caption of the video reads, "Passengers share video after stone was thrown on train going to Maha Kumbh from Surat. Multiple media have claimed that the incident occurred near Jalgaon, Maharashtra."
Some troublemakers threw stones shortly after the journey started, according to a man in the video. Because he was going to the religious event with his family, the passenger also asked the railway minister to increase security. According to reports, the incident happened in the train's B6 coach, which was carrying 13 devotees, including women and children.
The authorities acted quickly, according to Central Railway's Chief Public Relations Officer, Swapnil Neela. "A stone was hurled at this train that was traveling from Surat Udhna, which is close to Jalgaon. The Railway Protection Force sent four teams to the train right away. There has also been a complaint filed," the official stated.
Following the complaint, authorities investigated the situation and gave the passengers the assurance that they would receive all the assistance they required, according to the RPF. RPF officials examined the entire coach and spoke with the passengers and train conductor at Bhusaval station, which was the next station following the incident.
The Tapti Ganga Express passes through five states in its journey from Surat, Gujarat, to Chhapra Junction, Bihar, with multiple stops in Uttar Pradesh.
