SHS’s Patil Ulhas Sambhaji won Shirol assembly seat in 2014 Maharashtra Assembly Elections by a margin of 20033 votes. Runner-up Rajendra Shamgonda Patil (yadravkar) of NCP bagged 50776 votes. Third position was held by SWP's Savakar Madnaik. Fourth came Appasaheb Alias Satgonda Revgonda Patil while Kadale Suresh Mallu of IND got the fifth spot.
