Maharashtra News: A shocking incident has emerged from Ahilyanagar (Ahmednagar) in Maharashtra, where a school student was stabbed to death by a classmate over a cricket-related argument and a past dispute.

The incident took place on Wednesday around 3 PM in a prominent school located in the Bagadpatti area of the city.

According to reports, a 13-year-old boy studying in Class 9 allegedly attacked a 15-year-old Class 10 student with a knife, fatally injuring him. The two were reportedly involved in a heated altercation while playing cricket, which escalated due to an old rivalry between them.

After the attack, the injured student was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

The local police have since arrested the minor accused, and the matter is currently under investigation.

The tragic incident has sent shockwaves through the school and the local community, raising concerns over student safety and the need for conflict resolution mechanisms in schools.
