A lot of security personnel were seen outside the court to ensure adequate security to Rahul Gandhi.

DCP Zone-4 of Surat Sagar Bagmar said the Surat city police have deployed the police force in all areas with a possibility of Rahul Gandhi’s visit ahead of his hearing in the defamation case.

The Surat City police will also start frisking and checking people present here.

Rahul Gandhi will visit the court for a hearing in criminal defamation case over his Modi surname remark, in which he was convicted.
