Sanjay Gadhvi Death: Tabu, Ashutosh Gowariker And Others Attend 'Dhoom' Director's Funeral

'Dhoom' director Sanjay Gadhvi passed away on Sunday at his Mumbai home. He was 56.

Yash Raj Films' 'Dhoom' franchise features two massive hits that Gadhvi helmed: 'Dhoom' (2004) and 'Dhoom 2' (2006). Gadhvi was three days away from turning 57 years old.

Sanjina Gadhvi, his daughter told, "He passed away at 9.30 am this morning at his residence. We are not sure what it is, but it is most likely a heart attack. He wasn't unwell, he was perfectly healthy."

Sanjay is survived by his wife Gina and two daughters, with Sanjina being the elder one.

Popular actress Tabu also attended the funeral that took place on Monday in Mumbai.

Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker was also present at the last rites of the 'Dhoom' director.
