Aamir Khan recently threw a lavish party to celebrate his mother Zeenat Hussain's 90th birthday.

The grand event took place on June 13, and saw a gathering of close friends and family, including Aamir's daughter Ira Khan, his ex-wives Kiran Rao and Reena Dutta.

Veteran actor Asha Parekh also attended the birthday celebration.

Aamir went all out for the celebration, inviting guests from various cities including Bengaluru, Lucknow, Mysore, and others to join the festivities in Mumbai.

Aamir was dressed in a white sherwani, while her mother wore a white saree.

A candid photo from the event showed Aamir sitting on the floor next to his mother, enjoying the celebration.

Aamir's long-time friend and co-star Juhi Chawla was also in attendance.
