Royal Enfield Previews Himalayan Electric, Upcoming Model Said To Launch In 2025 - In Pics

While Royal Enfield is yet to share details on the Himalayan Electric, it is expected to hit the Indian markets somewhere in 2025.

This Electric Himalayan concept motorcycle gets an in-house powertrain although details have not been revealed yet regarding the power on offer or the exact size of the battery or even the range. Royal Enfield has also worked with the overall packaging of the Himalayan which means this electric concept has an in-house designed battery box that serves as the main structure while having new materials like Organic Flax Fibre composite bodywork. All being said, this bike does look like the new 452 Himalayan with the same LED light along with the large windscreen. This is a prototype and more testing will be done before we get an electric Royal Enfield. Hence, do not expect the future electric Royal Enfield to look like this or even the future Royal Enfield electric will be the Himalyan but it serves as a test bed for the electric components. Some of the details that we can make out are the way the battery has been packaged in along with the other components. We expect a launch by 2025 for the first electric Royal Enfield tentatively as more testing will be done by them. It is a bold step and a different kind of bike that has been previewed while the design still maintains the classic touch.
