Jaiswal, in a breakout season for Rajasthan, scored his fifth half-century of IPL 2023 while batting against Punjab Kings.

Jaiswal scored 50 (36) in a 188-run chase for Rajasthan Royals and in the course of his innings, broke a 15-year-old IPL record.

Jaiswal surpassed ex-Punjab player Shaun Marsh to become the highest run-getter for an uncapped player in an IPL season.

Marsh scored 616 runs in the inaugural IPL season with help of five fifties and a ton. He is IPL's first-ever Orange Cap winner as well.
