Today, the country celebrates Eid-Al-Adha or Bakrid. The day signifies sacrifice and it is usually marked by offering goat or sheep to Allah. This religious practise is called Farz-e-Qurban. (Image Source: PTI)

On the occasion he tweeted, "Better facilities, resources by administration and precaution & self-restraint by society can make country free from Corona. A senior police officer said meetings were held with Imams earlier to urge them to encourage people to celebrate Eid at their homes for everyone's safety amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
