Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actor Krishna Mukherjee married her boyfriend Chirag Batliwalla, a sailor, in a traditional Bengali wedding ceremony in Goa.

Actor Krishna Mukherjee, who played Aliya on popular television show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein,tied the knot with cruise ship deck officer Chirag Batliwalla in a Bengali wedding ceremony in Goa.

The actor shared a few pics from the wedding on her Instagram and wrote, "And the Bengali girl tied the knot for life with the Parsi Sailor. We seek your blessings & love on our big day.”

Actors Surbhi Jyoti, Pooja Gor, Aneri Vajani, Sangram Singh, Ridhima Pandit and others congratulated the couple on Krishna’s post.

The wedding was attended by her co-actors from the show including Aly Goni, Karan Patel, Shireen Mirza, Anita Hassanandani.

Other television actors like Aamir Ali, Jasmin Bhasin also attended the wedding in Goa.

Krishna wore a red and white lehenga and pearl and kundan jewellery. Chirag was in a white kurta and dhoti and topor, worn by Bengali grooms.

Krishna and Chirag also wore the traditional Parsi outfits, respecting his culture.

Before the wedding, the couple had also celebrated a Haldi and Mehendi ceremony, and a desi Tomatino festival.

Her friends from the industry also posted photos and videos from the wedding festivities.

Krishna had her bachelorette in Thailand. Sharing a video from the celebrations, she had written on Instagram, “My girls surprised me with an amazing Bachelorette Party & it couldn’t get better. Thank you @diapers_and_lipsticks @shireenmirza @richa_suf love you all."

In November last year, Krishna had shared a video from her engagement in a Christian wedding setup.

Krishna, who made her TV debut with the show Jhalli Anjali, has done shows like Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Kuch Toh Hai: Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein, and Shubh Shagun.
