New Delhi: Earlier in the day, the happy news of Team India’s victory in the fourth test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy broke out. Every Indian around the globe celebrated this historic victory including Bollywood celebrities. Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt and many other celebs took to social media to congratulate the winning team on the landmark victory.
Anushka Sharma, who gave birth to her daughter on January 11, 2021, posted for the first time post-delivery. In her post, she congratulated and hailed Team India for their victorious win. The ‘NH10’ actress wrote, “What a win team India! What an inspirational victory for years to come”.
Team India pulled off a remarkable 328-run chase against Australia in the fourth innings. Ajinkya Rahane led team ended the 32-year-old dominance of the Kangaroos at Gabba by defeating them by three wickets to clinch the series 2-1. This victory is quite special for team India as they were playing without their skipper Virat Kohli who took a break from the Australian schedule for the birth of his first child with Anushka Sharma.
Meanwhile, speaking on the professional front, Anushka Sharma was last seen in the 2018 movie ‘Zero’. The movie also starred Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. Although the ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ actress was away from the big screen for a long time, she has delivered two big hits as a producer in the digital space with 'Bullbul' and 'Pataal Lok'.
