New Delhi: One of the most popular couples of the country Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli shared the good news of their daughter’s arrival with the world earlier this year. The ‘NH10’ actress gave birth to their little munchkin on January 11, 2021. As fans have been eagerly waiting to get a glimpse of Virushka’s baby, the couple released a statement citing to allow privacy to their daughter.

Another celebrity couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is expecting their second child after Taimur, will supposedly also follow Anushka-Virat’s stand on privacy for their child reportedly. According to a report of SpotboyE, a close friend of Anushka and Virat told that they were told to not visit the child and they respected that decision of the new parents.

The source further told the portal, “We were very pointedly told to not visit and we respected that decision. In fact, stars who complain about their children being hounded by the paps have not tried hard enough to keep them away. The paps are human beings. All you need to do is tell them to respect the celebrity’s privacy. They will comply, Shilpa Shetty’s daughter was not photographed until she wanted her to be.”

Now, according to a report by the same portal, it has been learnt from reliable sources that ‘the couple intends to follow strict measures to ensure the baby’s privacy.’

Meanwhile, Virushka requested the paparazzi, who were following Anushka to click her photos and videos before the birth of their child, to not carry any content that features their child.

“Thank you for the love you have showered on us for so many years. We are happy to celebrate these moments with you As parents, we have a simple request to make to you. However, as parents, we will like to make a simple request to you. We want to protect the privacy of our baby and we need your help and support,” the couple said in a statement to the shutterbugs.

On the professional front, Anushka Sharma was last seen starring in the 2018 movie ‘Zero’ and will reportedly resume work soon this year much to the excitement of her fans.
