New Crossbeats Nexus Smartwatch Has ChatGPT Integration
Homegrown smartwatch and wireless audio technology firm Crossbeats has launched a smartwatch that has ChatGPT technology fully integrated into the wearable device. The smartwatch will be available in two colours: Silver and Black and it is priced at Rs 5,999. The Crossbeats Nexus has a 2.1-inch full-touch AMOLED display with GPS Dynamic Route tracking, Dynamic Island and an Ebook Reader. Nexus is available for pre-booking at a price of Rs 999, and the amount will be adjusted while the product is being purchased. Prospective buyers who pre-book the watch will also get discounts. It will be made available during Diwali.
Cloud Solutions Will Be Available On Indian Data Centre: SAP
SAP has announced that its multiple Cloud solutions would become available on a local India-based data centre from the middle of 2024. The Cloud major will collaborate with Cloud service providers empanelled by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) to ensure in-country residency of business-critical and personal data.
Malware Attacks Against IoT Devices Up By 400 Per Cent
Malware attacks against Internet of Things (IoT) and Operational Technology (OT) devices have increased by 400 per cent in 2023, as compared to the previous year, a new report by Cloud security company Zscaler has said. The firm analysed almost 3,00,000 blocked attacks on IoT devices over a six-month period and highlighted the relentless nature of cyber threat actors, thus, revealing that attackers are primarily targeting legacy vulnerabilities.
Itel Icon Smartwatch Launched
Itel has expanded its smartwatch portfolio with the launch of Itel Icon that has a 1.38-inch HD screen and Bluetooth calling. The device features a heart rate monitor and 100 sports modes, along with over 100 customized watch faces for personalization. With music and camera control, an AI Voice assistant, smart notifications and a claimed 12-day standby time, the Itel Icon smartwatch has been priced at Rs 1,599.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Launched
Qualcomm Technologies has officially launched its flagship mobile platform, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 at its annual Snapdragon Summit. The first lot of flagship Android phones to come with the chipset are OnePlus 12, Realme GT5 Pro and Xiaomi 14, among others. The processor will be adopted for flagship devices by other OEMs and smartphone brands including Asus, Honor, Meizu, Nio, Nubia, Redmi, RedMagic, Sony, Vivo and ZTE.
Flagship Android smartphones powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 are likely to be available in the coming weeks.
