In a bid to protect private conversations, WhatsApp, the world's most popular messaging platform has introduced what it calls "Chat Lock" feature for its users. WhatsApp Chat Lock feature is here to add "another layer" of security to the conversations on the messaging platform. WhatsApp parent Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced the WhatsApp Chat Lock feature and the feature will let users protect their intimate conversations with a password and secures them in a separate folder. When someone messages them and they have that chat locked, the sender’s name and the content of the message will also be hidden, as part of the new feature.

Sanchar Saathi Portal For Stolen Mobile Phones In India
In a bid to track and block lost and stolen mobile phones in the country, the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has launched Sanchar Saathi portal. Users are required to file a police complaint of their mobile phone being stolen before they use the Sanchar Saathi portal anywhere in India. According to Union telecom minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, through Sanchar Saathi Portal, people will be able to block, track and check the genuineness of a used device before buying them.

Apple To Manufacture Only AirPods In India
With Apple's biggest supplier and contract manufacturer Foxconn investing $500 million in a manufacturing facility in the Indian state of Telangana, the tech giant is likely to start making only AirPods here and may not manufacture iPads and Mac personal computers (PCs) in the country, says a report by The Economic Times. There have been rumours that the tech giant is likely to begin locally producing all its major products in India.

Apple iPhone 15 And iPhone 15 Plus Models Getting 48MP Camera
According to the latest leak pertaining to the upcoming Apple iPhone 15 series, the upcoming iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 models are likely to arrive with 48MP cameras, similar to what we have seen in the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max models. The iPhone 15 series is likely to be launched globally and in India in September. Apple is likely to launch iPhone models this year. Apart from two standard models, Apple may also launch two iPhone Pro models this year. Meanwhile, homegrown conglomerate Tata Group could become the fourth assembler for Apple iPhone 15 series in India. The other assemblers of the iPhone 15 lineup will be biggest Apple contract manufacturer Foxconn along with Luxshare and Pegatron while the fourth manufacturer will be Tata Group, the first local Indian manufacturer, according to market research firm TrendForce.
