CMF Phone 2 Pro Set To Launch Next Week: From Expected Price To Specs, Here's What We Know So Far

CMF Phone 2 Pro is shaping up to be a significant leap over its predecessor. Let’s dive into everything expected from this much-anticipated mid-range contender.

CMF Phone 2 Pro: As the April 28 launch date draws near, CMF by Nothing is turning heads once again with the upcoming CMF Phone 2 Pro. The smartphone brand, known for its unique design language and clean user interface, has been teasing its next release over the past few weeks, and there’s already a lot to unpack.

From a revamped camera system to a fresh design approach and hardware upgrades, the CMF Phone 2 Pro is shaping up to be a significant leap over its predecessor. Let’s dive into everything expected from this much-anticipated mid-range contender.

CMF Phone 2 Pro Expected Price: Another Disruptor in the Making?

Pricing is expected to be aggressive, in true CMF fashion. While official numbers are yet to be revealed, sources indicate the CMF Phone 2 Pro could land under the Rs 20,000 mark. For context, its predecessor launched at Rs 15,999.

If the speculated price holds true, the Phone 2 Pro could offer serious value in the budget segment, especially for users who want standout design and performance without breaking the bank.

New Design Language With a Triple-Camera Surprise

The design reveal of the CMF Phone 2 Pro has already sparked plenty of buzz. Gone is the dual-camera setup of the previous generation — in its place, a more versatile triple-camera array now sits on the back panel. The design stays true to CMF’s industrial aesthetic, complete with visible screws and the signature rotating dial, suggesting that interchangeable back panels might once again be part of the package.

The phone will arrive in at least two colorways — a bold Orange and a minimal White — both featuring a dual-tone finish. It's a striking look that CMF fans will likely appreciate, especially those who enjoyed the brand’s first-gen hardware.

AMOLED Display With 120Hz Refresh Rate

The CMF Phone 2 Pro is expected to feature a large 6.77-inch AMOLED panel, promising deep blacks and punchy colours. With a 120Hz refresh rate, users can expect smooth scrolling and improved gaming experiences. Full HD+ resolution is also anticipated, offering clear and detailed visuals.

There’s also talk of a potential return of the “Essential Key,” first seen on the Nothing Phone 3a series — although it’s yet to be confirmed if it’ll make the cut on this device.

Camera Bump Gets a Serious Upgrade

One of the standout upgrades is the shift to a triple-lens camera setup. Reports suggest the primary sensor will be a 50MP shooter, accompanied by another 50MP telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide lens for broader shots. This places the Phone 2 Pro firmly in line with some of Nothing’s more premium offerings in the camera department.

This marks a significant step up from CMF Phone 1’s dual-camera system and could be a key selling point for users looking for high-quality photography at a budget price.

Dimensity 7300 Pro Chip, Android 15, And Fast Charging

Under the hood, the CMF Phone 2 Pro is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset, a mid-range processor aimed at delivering efficient performance and solid multitasking capabilities. Paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, the phone should be well-equipped for most everyday tasks.

On the software front, it may run Nothing OS 3.1 based on Android 15, bringing in the latest features from Google’s operating system alongside Nothing’s clean, bloat-free skin.

Battery-wise, a 5000mAh unit is likely to keep things running, with 50W fast charging support adding convenience for users always on the move.

All eyes are now on April 28, when CMF by Nothing will officially unveil the device.
