New Delhi: Indian spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal and chess maestro Vishwanathan Anand faced off in a chess match. They played the match in the presence of YouTuber Samay Raina who is known for making videos related to chess. The match was live-streamed on the YouTube channel 'chess.com India'.
Chahal played well, but could not win the match as Anand applied the MacLeod attack. Yuzi Chahal lost his light square bishop & was a piece down when Anand decided to force the attack.

Yuzvendra Chahal has actually represented India in Chess at the World Youth Chess Championship. India's chess hero Vishwanathan Anand took to his Twitter to inform about this celebrity chess event. He tagged many celebrities including Ritiesh Deshmukh, Aamir Khan, Arijit Singh, Ananya Birla, and Manu Kumar Jain.
Vishwanathan Anand informed people about this fundraiser that has been set up for Covid-19 relief. They aim at providing food and other relief material to people who are in trouble due to the pandemic.
