VIDEO: This accident could end Virat Kohli's career!

New Delhi: In the last couple of years, Virat Kohli has improved his game a lot to be among the best in the world. So much so that he has become the backbone of Indian team. Be it Tests, ODIs or T20s, runs flow from his bat. But there was a moment in his career when he could have lost everything. In fact, the world could have lost a brilliant cricketer. The incident happened during the 2012 Asia Cup match between India and Pakistan at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Bangladesh. During the 38th over of the innings, Umar Akmal played Ravichandran Ashwin’s ball towards square-leg. Kohli was fielding at deep mid-wicket while Rohit Sharma was placed at deep backward square-leg. As the Pakistani batsmen ran hard to steal an extra run, both Virat and Rohit also hurried to pick the ball but failed to make a call and dangerously collided with each other. Here is the video of that horrific accident:
Thankfully, both of them quickly recovered from the collision and led India’s record chase of 330 runs to beat arch-rivals Pakistan by 6 wickets. Kohli scored a magnificent 183 while Rohit gave him good support with an innings of 68 runs. Kohli-Rohit added 172 runs for the 3rd wicket as India chased down the target with 13 balls remaining.
