Nagaur Blast: Massive Firecracker Factory Explosion Kills Two

A massive explosion at an alleged illegal firecracker factory operating in a residential area of Nagaur, Rajasthan, reportedly killed two people and injured four to five others. The blast was so powerful that its sound was heard up to around two kilometres away, shaking the surrounding locality. A fire broke out among the stored firecrackers, triggering a series of explosions that sent thick clouds of smoke into the air. According to ABP News correspondent Mohammed Moin, the factory was allegedly operating illegally in a residential neighbourhood, with firecrackers being manufactured without the knowledge of the police and administration. He described the incident as a result of alleged negligence and administrative failure. The rescue operation has now been completed, and the fire has been brought under control. The injured were shifted to different hospitals, where they are receiving treatment; some are reportedly in critical condition. Authorities have ordered an investigation into the incident to establish how the factory was operating and what caused the explosion.
