Here's The Reason Why One Of India's Top Sports Anchor Mayanti Langer Will Miss IPL 2020

The 13th season of IPL is going to start on September 19 with the opening match taking place between defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) and last year finalists Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Fans were shocked to see the name of their favorite sports anchor Mayanti Langer missing from the list and started wondering why one of India's leading sports anchor is not taking part in IPL13. Finally, the reason behind Mayanti Langer's name not being included in the anchors list for the cash-rich T20 League has been revealed by the anchor herself.
Mayanti and her husband Stuart Binny have become parents and the anchor took to social media to reveal about the same. In a tweet, Mayanti  revealed that she and Stuart Binny had become parents 6 weeks ago. Langer shared a photo on Twitter in which she is seen with her son and husband Stuart Binny and tagging the official broadcasters, she wrote,"So I’m going to love watching the IPL @StarSportsIndia all the best to the team @jatinsapru @suhailchandhok @cricketaakash @SanjanaGanesan @ProfDeano @scottbstyris @BrettLee_58 @Sanjog_G and the full gang!!"
“So quite a few of you have reached out, and many are speculating. For the past five years, my family at Star Sports has given me the incredible privilege of fronting their most high profile events. In fact they supported me when I needed them the most. When I was pregnant with my son. They made several adjustments to ensure that I was comfortable hosting till I was 20 weeks/5 months pregnant and would have continued doing so had IPL 2020 gone on as scheduled. Stuart and I were blessed by the birth of our baby boy almost six weeks ago. Life has changed for the better,” Mayanti wrote on Twitter.
