IPL 2024 Updated Points Table, Orange Cap & Purple Cap: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) defeated Delhi Capitals (DC) by 47 runs in the 62nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) season 2024 on May 12 (Sunday). With each passing day, RCB’s hope of qualifying for the IPL 2024 playoffs are shining brighter. With the win, they become the first team in the IPL 2024 season to win five matches on the trot. They are now placed fifth in the IPL 2024 points table. However, they still need a lot of things to go their way in order for them to secure a playoff spot.
In the first match of Sunday, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by five wickets and bettered their chances of qualifying to the playoffs. CSK are placed third in the IPL 2024 points table.
