Sourav Ganguly Feels India Should Play A D/N Test Every Series
Ganguly said he will share his experiences of hosting a pink-ball Test at Eden with other associations

After the successful conduct of the first-ever day-night Test in India, BCCI president Sourav Ganguly wants the Indian cricket team to play a pink-ball Test in every series. Kohli and his men went to play a Test match under the lights after initial resistance from the apex board. However, Kohli accepted Ganguly’s insistence and the boys took on Bangladesh at the Eden Gardens last month. It turned out to be a gala affair as the iconic stadium witnessed sellout crowd although the match was as lopsided as it can get with the home team winning by a massive margin. “I am pretty upbeat about it. I feel this is the way forward. Not every test, but at least one test in a series,” Ganguly told The Week. Ganguly said he will share his experiences of hosting a pink-ball Test at Eden with other associations. “I will share my experiences with the board and we will try and implement it in other places. After this, everyone is ready. Nobody wants to play test cricket in front of 5,000 people,” the former India captain said. India registering an innings and 46-run win over Bangladesh in the first-ever Day/Night Test. Under Virat Kohli, it was India's 7th successive Test victory since winning the Test against West Indies in Antigua this August.
