In the 15th over, Jaiswal attempted a single, but he and Pant decided not to run. Despite this, Bangladesh's wicketkeeper Liton Das threw the ball, which deflected off Pant's pads, allowing the Indian pair to complete a single. This frustrated Das, as it's uncommon to take runs after a deflection.

Rishabh Pant makes stunning comeback
Rishabh Pant, making his return to Test cricket after over 630-plus days, delivered a strong batting performance on day 1 of IND vs BAN 1st Test in Chennai.
