Former India captain and Chennai Super Kings superstar MS Dhoni is known for his fitness. Even though he is a retired international cricketer and plies his trade only in the Indian Premier League (IPL), there have been very few fitness concerns with him barring the last season where he was struggling with a knee injury. The 42-year-old makes it a point to remain on top of his fitness game and remains one of the best glovemen in the game even at this age.

However, a recent video doing the rounds on social media has raised a few eyebrows as it shows the usually health conscious Dhoni smoking a hookah. The video appears to be from a social gathering.

The video has gone quite viral with several people sharing it on X and other social media platforms.

Dhoni's Former IPL Teammate George Bailey Had Disclosed His Love For Hookah

Dhoni's former IPL teammate ex-Australian cricketer George Bailey had disclosed that Dhoni used to bond with younger cricketers over hookah.

"He likes smoking a bit of the sheesha or the hookah. So, he quite often would set that up in his room, and it was very much open door policy. You would go in and quite often find a lot of younger players there. For India or lot of other cricket teams, it can be hierarchical, but he certainly broke that down," he told Cricket Australia.

"You just find yourself in his room late at night chatting inevitably about the game or about different facets of the game or about different people and with different people it’s a great way to break down barriers," Bailey, who played for CSK and Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) in the IPL, stated.
