The Seattle Orcas won the toss and chose to bowl first. Opener Jason Roy and lower middle-order batter David Miller powered LAKR to the total of 168-5 in 20 overs.

Chasing the total, Seattle lost an early wicket in the form of Nauman Anwar who departed after scoring just nine runs. However, Ryan Rickleton and Quinton de Kock initiated a crucial partnership and saw to it that the Orcas lost no more wickets. They reached the target in 19.5 overs and helped the team win by nine wickets.
