IND vs ENG, Squad Announced: England Team 12 For 2nd Test Match Announced

Ahead of the second Test match between India and England, the visitors have announced their playing eleven. These two premier fast-bowlers miss out, know why and the complete squad for the second Test match.

The England team has announced the eleven that will play in the second Test match in Chennai on Saturday. Big and unexpected changes are observed in the England side. While players like Stuart Broad, Moeen Ali, Olly Stone, Chris Woakes and wicket-keeper Foakes getting a place in the eleven, some big players are dropped from the second Test. Earlier, it was informed by the English Cricket Board (ECB) that Jofra Archer would be mssing out in the second Test match due to injury.

Apart from Archer, the England team has decided to drop Buttler, Bess, Pope and Anderson.  It came as a surprise to many fans as they were not expecting Anderson to be dropped after the first Test.

The information was shared via a virual press conference by England captain Joe Root.

England defeated India by 227 runs in the first Test match. The Indian fans would be expecting that the team would bounce-back after a dismal show in the first Test by bat and by ball. After looking at the major changes announced by England, fans expecting Indian side also to make a few changes in the team. With Axar Patel announced fit, he is set to play the match.
