CPL 2024 Updated Points Table, Most Runs & Highest Wickets List After TKR vs AFB Match
Here's a look at the CPL 2024 updated points table and the list of most run-scorers and wicket-takers after the Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) vs Antigua and Barbuda Falcons (AFB) match on September 19.
Antigua and Barbuda Falcons (AFB) defeated Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) by six wickets in the 20th match of the Caribbean Premier League 2024 season on September 19 at the Queen's Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad. However, this only marked the Chris Green-led AFB’s third win in the season.
Winning the toss, AFB opted to bowl first. Led by Kieron Pollard, TKR faced early blows as they lost both of their openers without contributing much to the scoreboard. Pollard, along with Tim David’s assistance, helped TKR reach the target of 134-8 in 20 overs.
Chasing 135 runs, AFB also experienced an early blow but Justin Greaves helped the team recalibrate and along with the contributions from Hassan Khan and Imad Wasim, AFB won the match by six wickets.
Coming to the CPL 2024 points table, TKR remain on the second spot despite the loss.Barbados Royals remain on top as the only team which has advanced to the playoffs stage. Here's a look at the points table after the 20th match of the tournament.
