Ashes 2023: England Declare Unchanged Team For Fourth Test
The winners of the last Test match retained an unchanged squad for the Old Trafford Test.
The English team has announced their squad ahead of the fourth Test, slated to be played at the Manchester, starting from July 19. The winners of the last Test match retained an unchanged squad for the Old Trafford Test. The Ashes 2023 series have been topsy-turvy so far with three games going down the wire. The kangaroos won two close games at Edgbaston and Lord’s before England pulled one back at Headingley and kept the series alive.
England had a chance to fiddle a bit with the combination, with Ben Foakes in contention, keeping in mind Jonny Bairstow's poor run. But then the side backed the attacking batter for the Manchester Test. Ollie Robinson also managed to find the place which was in doubt after the pacer left the field after bowling just 12 overs on Day 1 and missed out on playing the majority of the Headingley Test.

“They will pick the strongest team to compete with Australia that particular week. I am completely happy with whatever they decide.
“I know I am not guaranteed to play the next Test and I will completely understand if they want to stick with the winning team. The selection side is out of my hands. I just make sure that I am in a good place and ready to play,” Anderson wrote in his column for The Telegraph.
