David Warner praised Sunrisers Hyderabad for donating Rs.10 Crores towards the fight against COVID-19

New Delhi: Skipper David Warner praised his franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad for donating Rs.10 Crores towards COVID-19 relief measures. After missing the 2018 IPL season, Warner was in spectacular form in last year's Indian Premier League as he scored 692 runs from 12 matches he played for his team Sunrisers Hyderabad. Taking to Twitter, SRH wrote: "Sun TV Group (SunRisers Hyderabad) is donating Rs.10 Crores towards Corona Covid-19 relief measures. #COVID19 #CoronaUpdate." To this, Warner replied: "How good is this well done Sun TV Group @SunRisers."

Earlier, David Warner shared a time-lapse video on Instagram of him shaving his head as a gesture of support to medical staff working amid the coronavirus pandemic. Warner captioned the post as: "Been nominated to shave my head in support of those working on the frontline #Covid-19 here is a time-lapse. I think my debut was the last time I recall I've done this. Like it or not".

Taking to Instagram, Warner posted a video to show fans a shoot from last year where he is wielding the bat like a sword. In the caption he wrote: "Throwback to this time last year to a commercial we were doing for @sunrisershyd Do you think I've got @royalnavghan covered for the sword?"
