New Delhi: In the wake of Coronavirus pandemic, Mumbai Indian's fast bowler Mitchell McClenaghan is the latest player to join the list of foreign players who left the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) owing to the global COVID-19 threat. Mitchell McClenaghan, who represents franchise Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League, left the country to return to his home in New Zealand amid COVID-19 outbreak. McClenaghan was forced to return home after New Zealand had enforced a mandatory fourteen-day self-isolation for anyone who enters its borders from Australia after midnight of Sunday. The 33-year-old, who will be in home isolation for 14 days, shared the message from his wife which read, "At least you are not stuck inside with your wife." "When you start to get frustrated just think... it could be worse... At least you're not stuck inside with your wife!! Love You," the note read. “Karachi Kings fast bowler Mitchell McClenaghan will return to New Zealand following the Pakistan Cricket Board’s decision to provide an option to competing players to withdraw from the ongoing HBL Pakistan Super League 2020,” the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said in a statement. “The PCB will facilitate McClenaghan’s safe return. Kings, as per the tournament’s regulations, are allowed a replacement for the fast bowler subject to Event Technical Committee’s approval,” PCB said.
