Patna: Class 10 Student Missing After School, Tension in Khagaul

Tension prevailed in Khagaul, Patna, after a Class 10 student of Kendriya Vidyalaya failed to return home after school. The girl reportedly left school around 1:40 PM, and her family expected her to reach home by 2 PM. The school is only about 500 metres from her residence. When she did not return, her family members went to the school and searched the premises but could not find her. Later, her school bag and clothes were found near the railway tracks, raising fears of an unfortunate incident. Following this, the family and local residents blocked a road near Danapur Railway Station and staged a protest. Some protesters also resorted to arson during the agitation. Police reached the spot and launched a search operation. Authorities are using CCTV footage and a dog squad to trace the missing student. However, no concrete clue about her whereabouts has been found so far.
