In 2025, the Ashtami tithi of the Krishna Paksha in the month of Jyeshtha will begin on Tuesday, 20 May at 5:51 AM and end on Wednesday, 21 May at 4:55 AM. According to the tradition of observing fasts based on Udaya Tithi, the Kalashtami fast will be observed on Tuesday, 20 May 2025.

On the day of Kalashtami, it is considered auspicious to worship Kaal Bhairav during the night. In 2025, the most favourable time for worship will be from 11:57 PM to 12:38 AM.
Rahu-Ketu Remedies On Kalashtami
If Rahu and Ketu are causing financial problems in your life, then on Kalashtami, offer a roti smeared with mustard oil to a black dog. While doing this, chant the mantra:
"Om Hreem Batukaya Apaduddharanaya Kuru Kuru Batukaya Hreem Om."
