Guru Purnima 2025 Puja Vidhi
- On the day of Ashadha Purnima, wake up early in the morning, bathe, and wear clean clothes. Ideally, a holy river bath is considered auspicious, but if not possible, bathe at home using Ganga water.
- Gather all essential puja items like fruits, flowers, incense, diya, water, and naivedya. Light a diya in the worship area.
- On this day, worshipping Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi holds special significance. You may also worship your Guru or Ishta Devta. Additionally, Ved Vyasa is especially worshipped on Guru Purnima.
- Begin the puja by applying sandalwood paste to the deity and offering sindoor to Goddess Lakshmi. Then offer fruits, flowers, naivedya, and other puja items.
- While worshipping Lord Vishnu, be sure to offer Tulsi leaves, as the worship is considered incomplete without it. Conclude the puja with the aarti of Lakshmi-Narayan.
- After moonrise at night, perform Chandra Darshan and worship. Offer arghya and light incense and lamps for the Moon.
