Holashtak began on March 7, 2025, on the Ashtami Tithi of the Shukla Paksha in the Phalguna month and will end on March 13 at 10:35 AM on Holika Dahan. It is believed that negative energies are strong during this period.

Holashtak ends on March 13 with Holika Dahan, but Kharmas begins on March 14. During Kharmas, auspicious activities like weddings, housewarming, and business startups are prohibited until April 14, 2025.
What To Do On The Day Holashtak Ends?
Holashtak ends on the day of Holika Dahan. According to the Panchang, only one day will be auspicious for sacred activities. On Phalguna Purnima (Holika Dahan), observe a fast and worship Lord Vishnu. You can also perform the Satyanarayan Katha. Additionally, offer Arghya to the moon on this day, as it marks the birth of the moon.
