What To Do On The Day Holashtak Ends?

On Phalguna Purnima (Holika Dahan), observe a fast and worship Lord Vishnu. You can also perform the Satyanarayan Katha. Additionally, offer Arghya to the moon on this day, as it marks the birth of the moon. After worshipping the moon, perform the Holika Puja and offer coconut, black sesame seeds, wheat, and other items into the Holika fire.

The 8 Days Of Holashtak Were Full Of Hardships

These are the 8 days when Hiranyakashipu tortured his son, Prahlad, a devoted follower of Lord Vishnu. Despite the suffering, Prahlad remained unwavering in his faith. On the day of Holika Dahan, Hiranyakashipu's sister, Holika, sat in the fire with Prahlad. By Lord Vishnu’s divine grace, the fire did not harm Prahlad, but Holika was reduced to ashes.
