Ghaziabad Hotel Mystery: Teenage Girl Found Dead in Room, One Detained as Police Probe Deepens

A mysterious case has emerged from Ghaziabad’s Vijay Nagar area, where the body of an 18-year-old girl was found inside a hotel room under suspicious circumstances, triggering a police investigation. Authorities have detained a 19-year-old youth in connection with the case and are questioning him as part of the ongoing probe. The incident took place at Hotel Ansh, where hotel staff alerted police after discovering the girl unresponsive in a room. Police teams rushed to the spot, secured the area, and sent the body for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. Officials have stated that the final conclusion will depend on forensic and medical reports. According to preliminary information, the detained youth has been identified as Nadim. Police sources confirmed that both individuals were known to each other and reportedly lived in nearby localities within the same police jurisdiction. Investigators are currently trying to establish the circumstances that led them to the hotel and what transpired inside the room before the incident. The girl was reportedly 18 years old, while the accused is said to be 19. Initial details suggest that the boy works as a tailor, while the girl had discontinued her studies after completing schooling up to a basic level. However, officials have clarified that these details are only preliminary and part of the ongoing investigation. Police have conducted a panchnama at the scene and secured evidence from the hotel room for forensic analysis. Statements from hotel staff and other possible witnesses are also being recorded. Authorities have emphasized that it is too early to draw conclusions about the nature of the death, and all possibilities are being examined. The case has been registered, and further action will depend on the post-mortem report and additional findings from the investigation.
