According to beliefs, worshipping Lord Vishnu with true devotion on Apara Ekadashi brings fulfillment of one’s desires and offers relief from life’s troubles. Here are some rituals and remedies to follow on this day to attract the blessings of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi.

Remedies And Donation Rituals For Apara Ekadashi 2025:

  • Light a Lamp near Tulsi Plant: On Apara Ekadashi, devotees should light a lamp near the Tulsi plant in the morning and evening and perform its aarti. Tulsi is considered a manifestation of Goddess Lakshmi, and since this Ekadashi falls on a Friday (Lakshmi’s day), it holds added significance.
  • Donate Yellow Items and Seasonal Fruits: Donation is considered highly auspicious on this day. Offering yellow-colored items and seasonal fruits is believed to bring positive results and help resolve pending issues in life.
  • Worship the Banana Tree: As the fast is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, worshipping the banana tree is recommended. It is said to bring Lord Vishnu’s blessings and helps in resolving marital issues.
  • Remedy for Financial Troubles: If facing financial difficulties, devotees can perform a special ritual — after worshipping the Tulsi plant in the morning, tie a dried Tulsi root in a yellow cloth and hang it at the main entrance of your home. This is believed to attract financial prosperity and remove money-related obstacles.
