IPL 2023: Piyush Chawla Surpasses R Ashwin In All-Time Wicket-Takers List In GT vs MI Fixture

IPL: Piyush Chawla is now the third highest wicket-taker amongst spinners.

Chawla returned with figures of 2/34 during MI's fixture against GT on Tuesday.

While Chawla has played 172 matches to take 168 wickets, Ashwin, an off spinner, has played 191 games. Chawla has a better average of 26.74 when compared to Ashwin's 28.51.
