As India continued to register over 5,500 Covid cases, several states conducted mock drills on Monday to take stock of hospital preparedness.

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya visited Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital on Monday to check the ongoing Covid-19 mock drills. Amid the surging Covid-19 cases across the country, Covid-19 mock drills were conducted in different parts of the country. Here is a look at it.

Covid mock drills were also held at Government Hospital in Jammu’s Gandhi Nagar. Last week, Mandaviya had urged state health ministers to visit hospitals and oversee the mock drills on April 10 and 11. (Source: PTI)

In Mumbai’s JJ Hospital also, Covid mock drills were conducted to check the preparedness amid the surging cases in the state. The use of face masks has been made mandatory for employees, patients and visitors in all civic-run hospitals in Mumbai. (Source: PTI)
