The walima, traditional post-wedding reception, was hosted at Grand Nirvana hotel-resort in Bareilly. It was mostly attended by Fahad's friends and family.

Swara shared the video of her walima lehenga on Instagram and revealed that the lehenga was designed by a Pakistani a Pakistani designer. She wrote, "A sneak peek into the stunning @alixeeshantheaterstudio. Lehenga set that @alixeeshanempire kindly made and sent across to me from all the way across the border! Special thanks to @natrani for making this possible!"

Swara looked stunning in gold embroidered lehenga and completed her look with a tradtiional nose ring and matha patti.

Swara and Fahad registered their marriage last month in Mumbai under Special Marriage Act.

The couple's wedding festivities started from March 11 with Haldi, Mehendi, Sangeet functions.

The couple also hosted a Qawwali night and a classical musical event, honouring traditions of both side.

The couple also threw a lavish wedding reception on March 16 at the Air Force Auditorium in Delhi. It was attended by friends, family and political leaders alike.

Rahul Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal, Shashi Tharoor and Jaya Bachchan were some of the people who were seen at the party.
