Rajiv Kapoor Death: Sanjay Kapoor, Chunky Pandey And Other Celebs Gather At The ‘Ram Teri Ganga Maili’ Actor’s Residence In Chembur

Earlier today, the unfortunate news of Rajiv Kapoor's death shook the entire Bollywood industry.

As soon as the news of his passing away broke out, many celebrities including Neil Nitin Mukesh, Neha Dhupia, Raveena Tandon and other B'Town celebrities took to their social media to offer their condolences.

His elder brother Randhir Kapoor revealed in a statement to ABP News that he suffered a heart attack at home and was taken to the hospital.

Randhir further revealed in the statement that even before he could be admitted to the hospital, the doctors declared him dead.

The 'Jawani Diwani' actor revealed that Rajiv Kapoor's funeral will take place at a crematorium in Chembur later today.

Many celebrities including Sanjay Kapoor, Chunky Pandey and others were spotted arriving at the late actor's residence in Chembur to offer their condolences.

Rajiv was the youngest among three brothers and two sisters - Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Ritu Nanda and Rima Jain.

He made his Bollywood debut in as a lead actor in the 1985 movie ‘Ram Teri Ganga Maili’.

He then made his directorial debut with the 1996 film ‘PremGranth’ which starred Rishi Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit in the lead roles. He also produced the film ‘Aa Ab Laut Chalen’ in the year 1999.
