'Ponniyin Selvan' cast including Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Trisha and Aishwarya Lekshmi jetted off to Coimbatore for the promotions.

In the pictures shared by Lyca Productions, the cast can be seen getting all candid with each other.

Recently, the 'PS- Anthem' was released. The song from the film is penned by Gulzar and has music by A R Rahman.

‘Ponniyin Selvan 1 & 2’ are based on the successful book of the same name by Kalki Krishnamurthy which was published in 1955.

There have been many attempts to adapt the novel into celluloid but Mani Ratnam’s has been the most successful and fruitful one.

Most of the ensemble cast including Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Jayaram, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, among others are likely to return to ‘PS-2’. (All Image: @lycaproductions/instagram).
